Right on the borders of Ripley, in the middle of the Green Belt, is Tithebarns Lane. The same people who are trying to concrete-over Garlick’s Arch in line with GBC’s ambitions, now have yet another application for permission to build an estate of houses in our Green Belt.
If you feel that it’s not right that an absentee landlord can dump a load of concrete on our Green Belt against local people’s wishes and without any exceptional circumstances, then NOW is the time to say so.
There are only a few days left in which to make your views known. Objections have to be received by 14 April – that’s just over a week away!
You can view the application on the GBC website here. You can comment online, or write direct to Guildford Borough Council, Millmead House Millmead, Guildford, GU2 4BB.
Don’t forget to include the Planning reference 17/P/00523.
